WOW!! This is really beautiful. So there are no patches just one piece of black cloth and you divided it up with seam treatments? How large is it? Really Beautiful!! JeanneZ
Oh what colors and the embroidery!! It's a FEAST for the eyes...I've enjoyed clicking on each picture and viewing each lovely section...my fave is the sprigs of wild roses stitched with the variegated pink ribbon or is it the art deco-esque flower up and to the right of the bottom fan??? Wonder Full!
What a lovely treasure you've created, and an inspiration for my CQ block that's been stuck for far too long. Thanks for sharing it with all those gorgeous close-up photos. Mary Tod
It's absolutely beautiful. I keep going back and finding another lovely area I hadn't noticed before, like the mass of ribbon flower underneath the picture on the right.

Welcome!
Hi Everyone, I would like to tell you what I hope to accomplish with this blog. I love to share my love for Crazy Quilting with others and want to make this a place you can come for a random idea or two. The blog will be run for the purpose of putting out those ideas as well as a guide to some of the items available at my website and some uses for them. I hope you will visit often. Even if you are not a customer of my website, I want you to feel welcome to come here and to garner any inspiration you can from what I have to offer. From time to time, I would also like to highlight work by others when they are willing to share. My husband and I are still busy adding new things to this blog and to the website so please be sure to check back often.
I'm Maureen - Reen, if you'd rather. I'm happily married, have 2 grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I've been a "stay at home" most of my married life and have always had a project I've been working on. Some things I finish, some are laying here as I write waiting to be finished, and some (more than I'd like to admit) just get tossed when I get to a point I can't look at it another day and am not happy with how it's turning out. I've done various crafts, porcelain dollmaking (which took up 10 years of my life), some sane quilting (when I get a request for it), watercolor painting (can't hold my interest), and my all time favorite - CRAZY QUILTING - I love it!! My other favorite pastime is giving attention to our little Chihuahua, Gracie.
I love the way the colors glow against the black background. So many flowers! This is a real keepsake treasure. Congratulations
