Crazy Quilt Journal Project – 2012

As a member of the CQJP Committee and to set a good example, I have just registered to take part in CQJP 2012. Following are the criteria if you would like to join in. I am going to take it one month at a time and just hope I can keep going. No matter how I fare, it will be fun to see all of the wonderful crazy quilt contributions that are made. This is not a competition but is a personal challenge. REGISTRATION CLOSES December 27 so don’t miss out.

-Participants will complete one crazy quilt block each month. Size and shape can vary....but it should be a least equivalent to a 6” square.

- Participants that want their efforts published (and we hope that they do...because their work could inspire someone else to begin their own crazy quilt journey)...can submit photos to the Committee (via email to: chairperson@cqjp.org) for inclusion on the CQJP2012 blog (link: http://www.cqjp2012.blogspot.com)

- The CQJP2012 is honored to have J. M. Michler, author of “The Magic of Crazy Quilting” as our Honorary Chairperson this first year.

Sharon’s Square

My good friend Sharon Benoit made this lovely 6" square for me. I'm getting to the point with these that my book needs to be started. I've seen quite a few fabric books and still haven't decided how I want to make it. After all the work the squares represent, I want it to be my best effort.
