Butterfly Finished!!

My butterfly wall hanging is finally finished with the exception of a tassel to add to the bottom.  I'm not sure where this is going to go but I enjoyed giving him his wings!  You can see more photos in my portfolio of crazy quilt projects.

There will be a progress article on this project in Pat Winter's new CQ magazine which will be coming out soon. Please be sure to follow her blog for updates and final publication information.  Finally, a printed magazine for crazy quilters!!

  4. May I be the first to congratulate you on finishing your beautiful butterfly! I've been following your progress and was wondering when it would be ready to "fly" I love every stitch but have to tell you I LOVE the way you embellished the body with all the lace. I hope you plan on bringing it to the Retreat for all to see.

  14. May I ask what the leaves are made of that are on the vine that surrounds the outer edges? Are they glass?

I love how you added the vine over the seam treatments.
