With the butterfly still not attached, here is a photo of where I'm at now. I didn't want you to think I'm not working! All of the embroidery is complete and I only have beading to do. I'll be saving the body to show you when I take the "finished" photo.

ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful Maureen! I love those little black eye-shaped beads on the pink...perfect addition to the butterfly...And I'm assuming that the middle of the flowers are going to be beads??
ReplyDeleteBut I would really really love to see those forget-me-nots up close. How did you make them? They look very very sweet and lovely. The whole piece is a delight to behold.
Ever thought about whipping some wire to the underside of the wings so that they could be a little 3-dimensional?
